In 1975, few months before his death (March, 1976) and though very ill, he managed to conclude this great sculpture in bronze. This monument is a memorial to the Resistance, as a personal reminder to the years spent as a partisan on the mountains fighting for freedom and human decency.
The monument is placed in the municipal square of San Donato Milanese, Milan.
